Ingredients
→ Main
4 wieners
4 strips bacon
4 hot dog buns
→ Mac and Cheese
8 ounces macaroni noodles
10.5 ounces condensed cheddar cheese soup
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
Steps
Prepare macaroni noodles according to package directions. Drain thoroughly and set aside.
Preheat air fryer to 380 degrees Fahrenheit.
Wrap each wiener securely in a strip of bacon.
Place bacon-wrapped wieners in the air fryer basket and cook at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 minutes until bacon is crisp.
Combine condensed cheddar cheese soup, heavy cream, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder in a large pot over medium heat. Whisk until smooth.
Add cooked macaroni to pot. Stir until noodles are evenly coated. When sauce begins to bubble, reduce heat to low and mix in shredded cheese blend until melted.
Fill each hot dog bun with mac and cheese. Press one bacon-wrapped wiener into the center of each bun.
Place assembled hot dogs in air fryer and cook at 380 degrees Fahrenheit for 3 to 4 minutes until buns are toasted and cheese is bubbly.
Notes
- Using a mozzarella-cheddar cheese blend creates a creamier texture and extra flavor.
- Ensure noodles are well-drained before mixing with sauce to maintain rich consistency.
