Sliced Tomato with Salt & Pepper

Ingredients
1–2 ripe tomatoes (heirloom or vine-ripened are best)
Flaky sea salt (or kosher salt)
Freshly cracked black pepper (lots, if you love that kick!)
Instructions
Slice tomatoes into thick rounds or wedges.
Arrange on a plate.
Sprinkle generously with salt and a heavy hand of black pepper.
Eat as-is, or pair with crusty bread, a drizzle of olive oil, or fresh herbs.
Optional Upgrades
A splash of EVOO for richness.
A drizzle of balsamic glaze for tangy-sweet contrast.
Crumble of feta or goat cheese if you want extra depth.
