Full Pattern

Pattern note: This is an original approximation developed from the visible design language of the reference image. Gauge and yarn choice can change the finished proportions, so compare your work to the listed size and adjust as needed.

Cream Spiral: Ch 72. Row 1: 2 dc in 4th ch from hook, then 3 dc in each ch across. The piece should curl automatically. Fasten off.

Spiral Thickening Row: Join at beginning edge. Ch 1, sc in each dc across, working 2 sc in every 6th stitch. Fasten off.

Green Vine: Ch 120. Sl st back through each chain for a firm cord. Fasten off.

Leaf (make 8–10): Ch 9. Sc, hdc, dc, tr, dc, hdc, sc; 3 sc in tip; mirror opposite side. Add a surface sl st vein if desired.

Five-Petal Flower (make 5–7): MR, [ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, sl st] x5. Pull ring tight. Add a bead or French knot at center.

Hanging Loop: Ch 35, sl st back along chain.

Assembly and Finishing

Block the cream spiral lightly without flattening the curl.

Wrap the green vine around the spiral following the same direction as the corkscrew. Tack every 5–7 cm.

Sew leaves alternately to left and right of the vine.

Place pink flowers at irregular intervals, approximately every 1.5 turns.

Attach hanging loop at top and bell at the lowest point.

Adjustment Notes

A narrower hook gives a denser, more sculptural spiral. For a longer hanger, simply add more foundation chains before working the 3-dc increases.
