These squares are worked in rows from one corner, not in rounds.
With white, chain 4.
Row 1: Work 2 double crochet, chain 2, and 3 double crochet in the 4th chain from the hook. Turn.
Row 2: Chain 3, 2 double crochet in the first space, chain 1, then 3 double crochet, chain 2, and 3 double crochet in the corner space, chain 1, and 3 double crochet in the last space. Turn.
Rows 3 to 7: Keep working granny rows the same way, adding one cluster to each side. You now have a white triangle.
