This elegant bedspread is made from soft cream lace squares, each with an open window grid in the center framed by delicate shells and scallops. Joined together, the squares create a beautiful pattern of little windows across the whole bed, finished with a wavy scalloped border that drapes over the sides. Matching pillow shams complete the set. It is perfect for a cottage bedroom, a guest room, or a light summer cover, and it makes a treasured heirloom gift.
The bedspread is made in three parts. First you crochet the lace window squares, then you join them into a large panel. Finally you add the scalloped border and make the matching pillow shams.
