Ingredients
→ Main
2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-size cubes
→ Marinade and Flavorings
1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
1/4 cup beef broth
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
→ Finishing
2 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish (optional)
Steps
Using paper towels, thoroughly pat the steak cubes dry to promote even browning and enhanced flavor.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper until fully integrated.
Place the steak cubes into the slow cooker and pour the marinade over them. Gently mix to ensure all pieces are evenly coated.
Distribute the butter pieces on top of the steak mixture, allowing them to melt gradually during cooking.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours, until the steak is tender and infused with the marinade.
Scatter chopped fresh parsley over the steak bites before serving. Serve hot as a main dish or appetizer.
Notes
- For optimal browning, ensure steak is well dried before marinating. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for one month.
