Materials
Use cream yarn for the lace base. Use dusty pink rose pink pale blush and olive green for the flower and leaves. Use a 3 mm hook. Optional cream beads can decorate the outer edge.
Finished Size
A three lotus flower runner can measure around 100 cm to 120 cm long.

Cream Lace Half Circle
Rows 1 to 3. Form a dc half circle with even increases.
Row 4. Make chain 4 spaces.
Row 5. Work 2 dc in every space.
Row 6. Make chain 5 spaces.
Row 7. Work shell fans into the spaces.
Row 8. Sc around and add picots or small bobbles.
Lotus Center
Round 1. With pale blush MR and 8 sc.
Round 2. Inc around.
Round 3. BLO sc around to form a small raised button.
Inner Lotus Petals
Join pale blush behind the center.
Make 8 chain 5 loops.
In each loop work sc hdc 3 dc hdc sc.
Middle Lotus Petals
Join rose pink behind the first petal layer.
Make 8 chain 6 loops.
In each loop work sc hdc 5 dc hdc sc.
Outer Lotus Petals
Join dusty rose behind the middle layer.
Make 8 chain 7 loops.
In each loop work sc hdc 6 dc tr 6 dc hdc sc.
Pin the petals into a pointed lotus shape while blocking.
Leaves
Ch 10 with olive yarn.
Work sc hdc 3 dc 2 tr dc hdc sc.
Work 3 sc at tip and mirror the second side.
Add center vein in sl st.
Assembly
Arrange the cream lace half circles and dusty pink circles into the same repeating S shape. Sew three lotus flowers over the joins. Tuck several leaves beneath each flower. Keep the outer petals slightly lifted for a layered look.
Finishing
Block flowers separately before sewing. After assembly place a cloth over the runner and steam lightly without pressing the petals flat.
