Materials
Worsted or DK cotton yarn in ivory, red, dark green, and a small amount of gold.
Crochet hook approximately 3.0–3.5 mm.
Small gold jingle bell.
Gold embroidery thread or thin decorative cord.
Yarn needle.
Scissors.
Stitch marker.
Small amount of fiberfill if you want the upper part slightly firmer.
Optional craft wire or fabric stiffener for shaping the bow.

Method
The main bell is crocheted from the top downward.
The upper rounds remain narrow while the lower rounds gradually increase to create the traditional flared bell silhouette.
A decorative green and red stripe is added near the bottom, followed by a scalloped ivory border.
The bow is constructed separately and sewn near the top of the bell.
Holly leaves and berries are added behind the bow.
Finally, a hanging cord is attached at the top and a small metal bell is suspended from the center bottom.
Bell Formation
With ivory yarn:
Round 1: MR, 6 sc.
Round 2: inc around. 12 sts.
Round 3: sc around.
Round 4: [1 sc, inc] around. 18 sts.
Round 5: sc around.
Round 6: [2 sc, inc] around. 24 sts.
Round 7: sc around.
Round 8: [3 sc, inc] around. 30 sts.
Rounds 9–11: sc around.
Round 12: [4 sc, inc] around. 36 sts.
Rounds 13–15: sc around.
Round 16: [5 sc, inc] around. 42 sts.
Rounds 17–18: sc around.
Round 19: [6 sc, inc] around. 48 sts.
Rounds 20–21: sc around.
You should now have a gently widening bell shape.
If you want a larger bell, continue one additional increase round using [7 sc, inc].
Green Decorative Band
Change to dark green.
Round 22: sc around.
Round 23: sc around.
FO green.
Red Decorative Band
Join red yarn.
Round 24: sc around.
Round 25: sc around.
FO red.
Ivory Lower Border
Join ivory yarn.
Round 26: sc around.
For the decorative scallop:
Round 27: sl st in first stitch, skip 1 st, 5 dc in next st, skip 1 st, sl st in next st.
Repeat around.
Adjust the final repeat slightly if necessary so the scallops meet neatly.
FO and weave in ends.
Hanging Loop
Attach ivory yarn to the top center.
Ch 30–40 depending on the desired loop length.
Sl st back into the attachment point.
FO securely.
For a thicker hanging loop, make two chains together or work sl st back along the chain.
Red Christmas Bow
Make two bow loops.
With red yarn:
Ch 18.
Row 1: sc in second ch from hook and across.
Rows 2–6: ch 1, turn, sc across.
FO.
Make a second identical piece.
Fold each rectangle into a loop and secure the ends.
For each bow tail:
Ch 16.
Row 1: sc across.
Rows 2–4: sc across.
Decrease one stitch near each side on the final row to give the tail a slightly pointed appearance.
Make two.
Arrange the loops and tails into a bow.
Wrap red yarn tightly around the middle several times.
Add a narrow gold thread around the outer edge if desired.
Holly Leaves
With dark green yarn:
Ch 9.
Starting in second ch from hook work:
sl st, sc, hdc, dc, tr, dc, hdc, sc.
Work 3 sc into the last chain.
Continue along the opposite side:
sc, hdc, dc, tr, dc, hdc, sc, sl st.
FO.
Make 2 leaves.
For a slightly pointed leaf, add a small picot at the tip.
Holly Berries
With red yarn:
MR, 6 sc.
Round 2: inc around. 12 sts.
Round 3: sc around.
Round 4: dec around.
Stuff very lightly.
Close the opening.
Make 3 berries.
For smaller berries, use only 6–8 stitches instead of 12.
Bottom Bell Attachment
Thread a strong piece of ivory or gold yarn through the center of the bell top and down through the inside of the ornament.
Attach the small jingle bell so it hangs approximately 2–3 cm below the crochet scalloped edge.
Knot securely inside.
Assembly
Position the two green holly leaves near the top front of the bell.
Sew them firmly in place.
Place the red bow over the leaf bases.
Sew the bow through its center only so that the loops remain dimensional.
Arrange the three red berries between the bow and leaves.
Secure each berry individually.
Add gold thread along the bow edges if you want the more luxurious look shown in the inspiration image.
Check that the hanging loop sits directly above the bell center.
Shape the bell gently with your hands.
Steam lightly from a distance if necessary, but avoid pressing the crochet flat.
